Hotel in bad location and not knowing hospitality

I stayed here since Turkish airlines put me there after missing my connecting flight. The location is bad. Nothing interesting around to even get a bite to eat but also it is far to get to interesting places, not because distance but time to travel. The room had water damage on the floor but not repaired. After getting into my first shower, I found that they were out of conditioner (big bottle on the shower wall). They did not even check after the last guest. The big problem with the place is that their main customers are not you! It is tour agencies or Turkish airlines. They don't seem to care about the real guests. As I walking into the breakfast with my carryon, A staff member stopped me and rudely said that it it is "forbidden" to bring in luggage into breakfast area, the point is not just the mentality is working with what is forbidden but also being rude. When I asked what I was going to do with it, no answer. Then, I said sarcastically that he should watch my carryon while having breakfast, still no answer. Then, I left my carryon with the front desk. While checking out, I told them about conditioner, the answer back was you should have called us to get the conditioner. I laughed "I was already in shower, was I supposed to get out of shower, call you, wait, and continue my shower?" I advised them to train their staff better. I also mentioned the experience with the carryon on the way to breakfast that their staff member was rude. Again, I advised him to train their staff. To my surprise, he said things are so busy, they don't have to train their staff 😂 well, another sarcastic comment was deserved "you have time to train them on what is forbidden but can't find the train them how to talk to guest? After checking out, I did a test my theory, it right on the spot. So, you should have a feel now. Not well maintained hotel, not training their staff on hospitality. If you are paying for it, you can do much better easily.

Turkish Air put us up here after their delay caused us to miss a connection. The hotel isn't near anything to walk to, except a modern shopping mall 800m away. The staff wasn't helpful about trying to visit the central Istanbul highlights. The dinner was truly awful - no choices, dried out chicken with rice and potatoes. This is really sad considering how Turkey has incredible food traditions. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and very diverse. Drinks are overpriced. Bed was comfortable and shower blasts, but the room windows are opaque with filth.

Dogo, Supervisor was extremely rude, he used my bank card to charge for the transfer cost to airport without confirming the price with me first. When entering the hotel there was no greeting by staff. Restaurant very aesthetically old, unappealing and extremely overpriced. Having left my phone in a taxi, I needed to make a landline call and was charged £10. I decided to get a taxi to the airport rather than using the hotels taxi service, because i changed my mind the Bell man started to shout at me. Basic layover option in Istanbul

I spent one night in this hotel as a layover for a trip in Turkey. The hotel is about 35 minutes away from the new airport and shuttle is provided only if you have Turkish airlines tickets. Reception personnel was bordering rude both on check in and check out (I was told the shuttle was about to leave and would not wait for us even if we were 10 minutes early). We had 2 rooms for 4 people. Unfortunately my room was the worst of the 2. Furniture and floors were scoffed, lights in the bathrooms were dim and half of the light fixtures did not work. Shower heads were broken both side one and top rainfall shower head. No hot water in the sink. No USB ports or adapter to charge razors. The other room was better, but still looked like the hotel has had better times in the past. Breakfast was ok, just a lot of local food but nothing too exciting. I would not spend another night here.

BAD EXPERIENCE HOTEL I can't describe my disappointment, I booked a week in that hotel, I checked in on the 15th planning to spend some nice time with my lady friend, I asked for glasses and fork because we wanted to celebrate a birthday, they ignored me in the first night and on the next day, they told me they will take care of it, and when the evening came the next day, I went to the reception and asked if I can get 2 forks and 2 glasses, they said they will call me back to my room in 5 minutes after a 45 minutes they called they said normally it coast money to borrow glasses and forks, but they will help me out because they are just kind, and then I decided to go to reception and see how is that possible in 5 stars hotel, and I got a Sh.... answer, (we charge for a 2 empty glasses since the establishment of this hotel) so in the same evening I wrote to Booking and decided to check out the next day and take my business where they deserve it.
